| Alexander G. Orange-Alvarez of Arlington is one of 24 Bridgewater College students who volunteered as a construction worker with Habitat's Collegiate Challenge Spring Break, March 6-13, 2010. The students were accompanied by Tim Brazill, assistant professor of sociology, criminology and criminal justice. For the 2010 Spring Break Challenge, the group will be working with the Lafayette Habitat for Humanity affiliate to build houses. Alexander is a senior sociology major with a minor in cultural studies. |

| ELIZABETHTOWN, PA - Elizabethtown College, a private coed college in southeastern Pennsylvania with 1,900 students studying liberal arts, creative arts, business, education and science and engineering, recognized the accomplishments of 513 students Saturday, May 22, 2010, during its 107th annual Commencement. The ceremony was highlighted by remarks from Michael Lomax, president and chief executive officer the United Negro College Fund. |

| Prior to joining MCC, Barber was the associate director of campus life, and an assistant director for operations at Trinity College in Hartford. He was also a member of the Association of College Unions International Region One Leadership Team. Barber is a graduate of Trinity College with a master of arts degree in public policy analysis. He also holds a master of science degree in educational leadership from Central Connecticut State University and a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Texas at Arlington. |
