0.5W8.2V Features:
|
| The 0.5W8.2V series is a family of 1W, unregulated, isolated DC/DC converters. Requiring a minimum of external components and including on-chip device protection, the 0.5W8.2V series provides extra features such as output disable and synchronization of switching frequencies. |

| Serial Interface The 0.5W8.2V supports a bidirectional bus oriented protocol. The protocol defines any device that sends data onto the bus as a transmitter and the receiving device as the receiver. The device controlling the transfer is a master and the device being controlled is the slave. The master will always initiate data transfers and provide the clock for both transmit and receive operations. Therefore, the 0.5W8.2V will be considered a slave device in all applications. |

| These three terminal negative regulators are supplied in hermetically sealed pack- ages. All protective features are designed into the circuit, including thermal shutdown, current-limiting, and safe-area control. With heat sinking, these devices can deliver up to 1.5 amps of output current. The unit also features output voltages that can be fixed from -1.2 volts to -37 volts using external resistors. |
